Clive Smith Photography, based in Tarporley, Cheshire provides a photo restoration and enhancement service as well as portraiture and general photography.

The cost of your order will be made up as follows:

  1. Restoration / enhancement
    • Service fee for restoration or enhancement as quoted plus printing cost if prints required
    • Cost of optional CD or DVD for permanently safeguarding your images in digital form (£2.00)
  2. Purchase of print from my library
    • £10 library fee plus printing cost
  3. Portraiture and commercial photography: I will be happy to provide you with a quotation. A typical one hour portraiture session would be charged at £50 plus printing costs as descibed above.
  4. Printing cost - see the size options and price list below.
  5. I can mount prints in a bevel-cut mount with backing board ready for framing at a fixed charge of £10 per print.  See an example
  6. Postage and packaging: This will be charged at a standard rate of £3.00 per order, irrespective of the number of items in the order. All orders placed by you on any one day will be treated as one order for this purpose.
  7. Other services: I will be happy to quote for other services such as preparing photo-books etc.

I offer three options for printing:

  1. Express prints done in-house using an Epson Stylus Photo 1400 printer with genuine Epson Claria inks. I print on either genuine Epson Premium Photo or Ilford Galerie Smooth papers (Glossy or Semi-gloss/Pearl) or Epson Heavyweight Matte.
  2. Professional photo laboratory prints. These will take 2-3 days longer to get to you and will be slightly more expensive for the larger sizes. This is high quality printing on archive paper and the laboratory that I use gets consistently good reviews, especially for print quality.
  3. I can supply your photo(s) (but not my library images) on a CD or DVD (at £2 per disk) for printing by a supplier of your choice. There are many labs that can print your photos, both on the high street and online, but quality is variable and may not match that of the other options. Colours may not be reproduced accurately.

Please note that larger print sizes may be inappropriate for a small image. I will let you know if your requested print size is beyond the capability of the original.
